In order to offer the best possible pricing, the points system is in the process of being phased out. Points earned from previous purchases will remain valid until 27 February 2019.
First things first…
The points system is linked to your Valley Vapour account so please ensure that you have registered an account and are logged in when placing orders. You can click here to sign up for an account if you haven’t done so already. Sign up!
How does the points system work?
With every purchase, 5% of the order total is earned back in points.
5 points are awarded for every rand spent and 100 points carry a redemption value of R1.
For example: If your order total is R100 you will receive 500 points with a value of R5.
Where can I see my points balance?
You can check your points balance and history on the Points & Rewards tab of your My Account page at any time.
How can I use my points?
If you have a positive points balance you will see a banner in the cart showing your points balance and the value. Clicking the apply discount button will use your points to discount the order.
Where did my points disappear to?
If you apply a points discount to an order and click “Place Order” the new order is generated and the system is waiting on payment. If you leave the site at this point before payment is made or if the payment gateway hangs and you need to close the page, the pending order is still on the system and holding the points hostage.
To get your points back head over to your orders page: My Orders
Look for the order with a status of pending payment, click Cancel and the points will be returned to your account.
